Signs of summer

Well, one dead giveaway at least.

Lavender from my parents’ garden, silk ribbon from the incomparable Treenway Silks.

Not so much a sign of summer, but a sign of my ongoing reintegration…

The results of a spinning class I took at Knotty by Nature today.  Not perfect by any means, but it is so nice to be spinning again after almost three years!

Ohhh! Did you just make those lavender sachets?! I think the one you made for me years ago is in one of my stash bins… not sure which one… but your new ones with those dyed ribbons… so lovely!

    And great looking spinning, btw!

Yes, just made them over the weekend. I made two more as well but they had left my hands by the time I managed to take pictures. I had such a difficult time choosing what colours of ribbon to buy – Treenway does such gorgeous colourways! It was tough limiting myself to one palette. As for the spinning…thanks for the compliment but in my view, it can only improve….
